Testing Services
TSI Compass International Limited provides ETL certified independent testing on installed systems consisting of Standards Complaint Cabling Systems. Our testing is accomplished with "state of the art" test equipment that meets or exceeds all requirements of the industry standards.
TWISTED-PAIR TESTING
All testing is accomplished with ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B.1 Level III testers. These testers are capable of performing at the level required by the ANSI/TIA/EIA Standards and the guidelines contained in the ETL certified independent testing program. The testers are maintained at the highest state of readiness and are factory certified once a year to ensure their calibration. Test results can be provided to the client in soft or hard copy or both.
OPTICAL FIBER TESTING
Optical fiber testing is available as well. It includes ANSI/TIA/EIA compliance testing using optical power meters and optical light sources for both multimode and single-mode optical fiber systems. Verification testing and troubleshooting is available with the use of Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR). OTDRs provide a historical record for the events that occur during the time of testing and provide valuable data when problems start occurring on cable plant systems. Optical fiber connectors may be tested for radius of curvature, offset of polish, and fiber height using an Interferometer.
